The wild horse model also teaches us about the meaning of the perfectly "natural hoof". The AANHCP's training program for Natural Hoof Care Practitioner evolved directly from these teachings, based on the research of Jaime Jackson. The hoof on the right is the wild one, hardly distinguishable from the naturally shaped domestic one, and which has been the recipient of natural hoof care for several years under the auspices of an AANHCP certified practitioner.
