T he AANHCP is dedicated to promoting natural hoof care and natural horse keeping practices through our education and advocacy programs. A pioneer in the natural horse care revolution, the AANHCP continues to be the leading global force for the humane care of domestic equines worldwide.
The leadership, training instructors, clinicians and practitioners of this groundbreaking organization are dedicated professionals and advocates with years of experience in addition to their formal AANHCP education and training. Although our backgrounds are diverse, we serve a wide range of equestrian activities and are united around the guiding principle of 'causing no harm.' The hoof model we use is that of the wild, free-roaming horse of the United States Great Basin.
Although the AANHCP was originally conceived as an American institution, it almost immediately became an international organization by the much welcomed participation of students and practitioners from abroad. Indeed, the vital mission of the AANHCP knows no borders! We wish to let the world know what the AANHCP stands for. Please read our Oath of Allegiance -- every AANHCP practitioner is sworn to it in spirit, in practice, and by our organization’s legal policies.
The AANHCP offers the international horse-using community many services, important information, and a promise for a healthier and more humane, natural horse world. The AANHCP, Inc., is legally and exclusively organized as a not-for-profit corporation for one or more of the purposes as specified in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service code.
